The DOMS aligns with ALERT\u2019s vision, bringing about social impact through community initiatives among IIT-M campus residents. DOMS\u2019 Samanvay initiative, with a mission to foster entrepreneurial thinking rooted in social responsibility, brings ALERTATHON to IIT Madras campus, resounding the message \u2018You Too Can Save a Life\u2019. This isn\u2019t just a marathon. It\u2019s a movement to empower every citizen to become a life-saver. This association with DOMS IIT-Madras is a step towards Ensuring Community First Response as a Civic Responsibility.\u00a0<\/span>\n<\/span><\/p>\n

About IIT Madras Campus<\/b><\/p>\n

The IIT-M campus needs very little introduction.\u00a0<\/span>The 617 acres campus holds a rich heritage. Once part of Guindy National Park, it remains a protected forest, home to diverse wildlife including blackbucks, chitals, and bonnet macaque monkeys.<\/span><\/p>\n

The campus features distinct zones for academic buildings, hostels, faculty residences, and recreational facilities, fostering a vibrant residential community. Bonn Avenue and Delhi Avenue serve as the main thoroughfares, intersecting at Gajendra Circle near the Administrative Block.
