It was raining heavily that day and I was travelling back home in an auto, I saw an accident victim near Mambakkam (Vandalur – Kelambakkam road). There was a huge crowd gathered at a particular spot, so I asked the auto driver to stop at the side of the road. I got down from the auto and went there to have a look. Nobody had touched the victim yet;
I showed my first responder VoICE ID card to them and told them that I was a first responder. I asked them what had happened. They told that a young boy had met with an accident because his bike had skidded on the wet road. The victim was thrown into the bushes at the side of the road and he was still lying there. I then checked for scene safety and went to examine him. The victim had lost a lot of blood due to the scratches and wounds all over his hands, legs, face, and head.
When I checked his vitals, though he was unconscious, I could sense his breathing. Thankfully the ambulance was already called and had just reached the spot, I rushed the victim to the nearby hospital without further delay.
