alert VoICE (Volunteer In Case Of Emergency) is a first of its kind initiative in India to bring about a revolution in the way emergency care gets delivered in our society. Driven by community participation and enabled by mobile technology, it will bridge the much-needed gap between the occurrence of an emergency and the arrival of professional help, whether on the road, home, workplace, or public places.

While crossing the way, I turned back to check out the work going on and noticed a few ppl stand in a circle with a man leaning against the knee of the person who stood against the wall.

The first accident case, I attended, was a girl who had fainted and had gone unconscious. After I got near the victim in college, I checked for her response. When she didn’t respond to me, I proceeded to check her vitals. The vitals were normal so I put her in the Recovery Position. About 20 minutes later, she regained consciousness, felt normal and spoke with me.

Just about a 100 mts away, I could see a young Chinese lady who seemed to be a bit mentally challenged, bleeding profusely from her knees and with some bruises on both her palms.
