My family and I went to a restaurant to have food. My one-year-old daughter ate a big piece accidentally, and it got stuck in her throat. She was tearing up from the pain. She raised her hand to call for attention and her breathing was blocked. I lifted her up and placed her in infant choking method upside down. I strongly tapped between her shoulder blades and rendered back blows. I tapped three times and on the third one, a food particle came out of the child’s mouth. My daughter calmed me down after the particle got out through the open mouth. It was a happy moment for me. This was my first time giving First aid and Heimlich Maneuver Thrusts on a choking victim. I saved my daughter’s life. Thank you very much for training me in First Aid.
